Position Summary:
Hill Pharmacy Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Market Research Analyst to gather, analyze, and interpret data on the pharmacy market, customers, competitors, and industry trends. The insights you produce will directly inform marketing strategy, product mix, pricing, and growth decisions for the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data on pharmacy industry trends, customer behavior, and local competitor activity.
- Design and conduct customer surveys, interviews, and focus groups to capture patient and community feedback.
- Build clear reports and dashboards to communicate findings to leadership and pharmacy management.
- Monitor KPIs for marketing campaigns, in-store promotions, and customer engagement.
- Recommend data-backed decisions on pricing, promotions, and product-line expansions (OTC, wellness, services).
- Track competitor pricing, service offerings, and promotional activity in the local market.
- Identify opportunities to expand patient services, immunization programs, and community outreach.
- Support marketing and operations teams with research briefs and ad-hoc analyses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in market research, data analysis, or a related role (healthcare or retail pharmacy a plus).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with survey tools (SurveyMonkey, Google Forms) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with pharmacy or healthcare operations is a plus.
